Benefits of Sand Casting

The process begins by packing sand and a binding agent into a wooden or aluminum pattern creating a sand molding. Two halves of the mold are made and joined together.  A molten alloy is poured in and allowed to cool.  The sand is then removed from the casting and the remaining cast component can be machined to your exact requirements.  Cobalt, nickel, stainless steel, and a wide range of other alloys can be used in nearly endless patterns making this process extremely versatile and efficient.

The sand casting method has good liquidity to get dense microstructure, lack of gas and slag inclusion, Meanwhile it can make the surface and outline smoothly and easy to clear,

Our bimetal product is a kind of composite material which is newly applied in mineral processing to undertake high impact and severe abrasive wear.      By casting in the vacuum furnace,the High Chrome Iron casting diffusion bonded to a steel backing plate to form a reliable metallurgical bond, and provide good impact resistance base. It has even microstructure, along with the impact absorbing weldable back, makes it perfect for high abrasion and high impact applications.
